Secretarial-grade support

Brigid prepares the work. Your team makes the call.

Staff-controlled inbox

Patient queries, prescription requests and GP referrals route to authorised clinic staff. Generative triage and reply drafting are disabled.

Approved letter templates

GP letters, consultant-to-consultant letters and discharge summaries use approved templates and raw EU dictation; the clinician authors and signs the content.

Diary coordination

Rooms, hospital sessions and theatre lists in one diary. Staff review and confirm reschedules, waitlist fills and follow-up slots.

Invoices prepared and chased

Staff prepare EUR invoices and Stripe payment links per encounter. Generative payment reminders and autonomous sending are disabled.

Recalls and DNA follow-up

Staff review recall, screening-reminder and did-not-attend lists, then author and send any communication through the approved workflow.

Phone answering — in development

Phone answering is in development. Until it ships, the phone stays with your team — we say so plainly.

How practices start

From drowning desk to reviewed queue.

  1. Day 1

    Validate the staff inbox

Connect the approved mailbox, verify access and train staff to route messages. Generative triage and reply drafting stay disabled.

  2. Week 1

    Approve letter templates

Approve clinic templates, recipients and filing procedures. Clinicians author the clinical content and sign it.

  3. Month 1

    Run the staff-controlled desk

Staff work from the same inbox, diary, templates, invoices and recall lists, with each consequential action confirmed by an authorised person.

Questions practices ask

The secretary question, answered straight.

Will Brigid replace our secretary?
No. Brigid gives the team one place for the diary, inbox, approved templates, invoices and patient records. Staff continue to route messages, call patients, coordinate hospitals and make every decision.
What does Brigid actually take off the desk?
Staff-controlled scheduling, inbox routing, approved letter templates, invoice preparation and recall lists. Generative inbox triage, reply drafting, clinical letter drafting and autonomous outreach are disabled for launch.
Who decides what gets sent?
Your team, always. Clinicians author clinical content and staff author messages. Nothing consequential — a letter, referral, invoice, message or booking — leaves the normal confirmed workflow without an authorised person deciding.
Can Brigid answer the phone?
Not yet. Phone answering is in development — until it ships, the phone stays with your team, and we say so rather than promising it early.
What if we don't have a secretary at all?
Solo consultants can use the same staff-controlled diary, records, templates, billing and raw EU dictation. Generative triage, clinical drafting and autonomous chasing are disabled for launch.
