Two Irish systems for the same rooms
Concept Medical and Ask Brigid are both Irish and both built for private consultants, so where they come from does not decide it. What separates them is what each one publishes: what the price covers, whose words end up in the note, and how your records move in and out.
What the price covers
Concept Medical lists €215 for Standard and €235 for Pro, and its pricing page does not say whether that is per month, per consultant or before VAT. Ask Brigid is €129 a month (Essential) or €299 a month (Professional), plus VAT, with every seat included — see the full pricing breakdown.
The note stays the clinician's
Concept Medical's Pro plan lists AI-powered note writing. In Ask Brigid, dictation returns editable text, and where note assistance is enabled for the clinic, a note or letter is prepared from the transcript for the clinician to check, edit and sign. Nothing is filed until they do.
Who should stay with Concept Medical
If you want AI note writing as a standard part of your plan, Concept Medical's Pro tier lists it, where Ask Brigid enables note assistance clinic by clinic. Stay too if you rely on text reminders (charged separately on Concept Medical), on its Blackrock Health referral module, or on its typing service and the secretaries of its sister company, MediClerks: Ask Brigid has no text messaging at launch, no Blackrock Health module and no typing or secretarial service. Its offers count too: a free transfer with the first three months free (a data port fee applies), or three months free for a new practice (terms apply).
Ask Brigid is built for Irish private consultants. Comparing several systems? The consultant buyer's guide compares the main consultant systems side by side.
