Brigid vs iMedDoc

iMedDoc is an established platform for Irish GPs. Brigid is an early-access alternative combining scheduling, records, EUR billing and raw EU dictation.

Why clinics are switching from iMedDoc to Brigid

iMedDoc is a solid, established platform. Brigid is the modern successor — built for the era of AI and clinical efficiency.

Reclaim Your Evenings

Use raw EU speech-to-text to reduce typing while the clinician authors and verifies the note. Generative clinical note drafting is disabled for launch.

AI Practice Support

Staff can review overdue invoices and outstanding follow-ups in the same system as the patient record. Brigid does not draft clinical notes or outreach messages in the launch release.

Migration without downtime

Import scope, mapping, representative records, permissions, continuity and rollback are rehearsed with the clinic. Production cutover happens only after the clinic accepts the migration evidence.

Switching from iMedDoc — common questions

How do we move our patient records from iMedDoc to Brigid?
Import scope and mappings are agreed with the clinic. Representative records, permissions, continuity and rollback are tested before the clinic signs the production cutover.
What does Brigid cost, and is there a long-term contract?
Published early-access prices start at €129 per month and requesting access does not require a card. The signed order controls setup fees, term, renewal, cancellation and enabled services; verify iMedDoc’s current terms directly with that provider.
What does Brigid actually do that iMedDoc doesn’t?
Brigid combines scheduling, records, billing and staff-controlled follow-up views. Raw EU speech-to-text can support dictation, but clinicians author SOAP notes and referrals and staff write/review messages. Generative clinical and outreach drafting is disabled for launch.
Can Brigid handle our VHI, Laya and Irish Life billing?
Staff can prepare and review EUR invoices with configured scheme codes. Automated VHI, Laya or Irish Life eligibility and claim submission are not launch-authorised; clinics use their normal submission channel.
Is patient data safe if an AI is drafting the notes?
Clinical Generative AI is disabled; clinicians author the record. Patient records are hosted in AWS Dublin (eu-west-1), while some disclosed provider paths may involve international transfers. Privacy, access and audit controls support but do not certify the clinic’s GDPR compliance.
