Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

DJG Media Limited (trading as Brigid), CRO No. 762838 is committed to making our platform and website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Our working target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA; our automated checks currently run the WCAG 2.1 A/AA rule set, and no full conformity audit or certification is currently claimed. Applicability of the European Accessibility Act, EN 301 549 and Irish public-sector accessibility duties remains a qualified legal review item for the specific services and customers in scope.

The launch evidence pack must record the applicable legal/contractual standards, tested product surfaces, methods, defects, owners and accepted remediation dates.

2. Current implementation targets

The source includes the controls below, but this page does not represent that they work on every route, device, browser or assistive-technology combination. Representative manual and automated acceptance evidence remains required.

Automated checks — axe-core checks against the WCAG 2.1 A/AA rule set run in continuous integration for the clinician app's public routes (the landing page and the sign-in pages). Authenticated routes, the patient portal and public booking are not yet covered, and automated tools detect only a minority of WCAG issues; manual testing remains required.
Marketing site (askbrigid.com) — every page has a "Skip to main content" link and visible focus styles. No automated accessibility checks run against the marketing site yet.
Keyboard operation — interactive controls should be reachable and usable without a pointer; full-route test evidence is pending
Screen-reader semantics — landmarks, labels and live regions are used; representative VoiceOver/NVDA acceptance evidence is pending
Colour contrast — WCAG 2.2 AA is the working target; a complete measured route inventory is pending
Visible focus indicators are implemented in shared controls; complete rendered-route coverage remains to be verified
Reduced motion respected — animations honour prefers-reduced-motion media query
Text resize/reflow is a test target; 200%/400% evidence is not yet complete
Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images carry empty alt text or role="presentation"
Media alternatives are required before any walkthrough video is published
Form labels visible and programmatically associated; error messages announced via ARIA live regions

3. Known gaps + remediation plan

Known launch gaps include:

Calendar view screen-reader announcement — currently announces date changes but not slot-availability changes; owner and remediation date remain to be signed off.
High-contrast testing for the patient chart — incomplete.
Voice control beyond dictation — under research.
MyBrigid — clinic-linked patient access is included in this statement. A completed iOS accessibility conformity assessment is not claimed.

4. Accessibility statement scope

This statement covers:

askbrigid.com (marketing site)
The Brigid clinician web platform release candidate
MyBrigid for clinic-linked patients, including the iOS app

No completed independent full-scope audit is claimed. The launch pack must identify actual automated/manual runs and their dates rather than rely on this statement as test evidence.

5. Report an accessibility issue

If you encounter a barrier or have a suggestion, please email privacy@askbrigid.com. We respond to reports and record priority, impact and ownership. Response and remediation times are governed by the signed support terms; no universal deadline is promised here.

The applicable statutory complaint or enforcement route depends on the service and customer context. Ask us for the current accessibility/legal assessment if this is material to your procurement.

6. Review schedule

Accountable owner: David Galvin, accountable director of DJG Media Limited. Cadence: reviewed and signed annually, and additionally whenever verified scope or known gaps change. First signed review: before the first clinic uses Brigid with patients.
