Brigid vs HealthOne

HealthOne is widely used across Irish general practice. Brigid is a cloud-based early-access alternative with scheduling, records, billing and raw EU dictation.

Why Irish GPs are moving from HealthOne to Brigid

HealthOne built familiar rails for Irish general practice. Brigid offers a modern staff-controlled workflow that brings records, scheduling, billing and raw EU dictation into one system.

Any device, anywhere

No local installs. No Windows-only workflows. Brigid runs in any modern browser on laptop, iPad, or phone — so your team isn't chained to a reception desk.

Staff-controlled administration

Brigid supports staff-authored records, approved templates and administrative work queues. Clinical drafting, autonomous actions and insurer submission are disabled; the signed order controls price and enabled services.

Clinic-approved migration from HealthOne

Import scope, representative records, permissions, rollback and continuity are rehearsed with the clinic. Production cutover happens only after the clinic accepts the migration evidence.

Switching from HealthOne — common questions

What does Brigid do that HealthOne doesn’t?
Brigid combines scheduling, records, billing and staff-controlled work queues. Raw EU speech-to-text supports dictation, while clinicians author notes and referrals. Generative clinical drafting and automated recall outreach are disabled for launch.
Can I move my HealthOne records to Brigid, and how long does it take?
Import scope and mappings are agreed with the clinic. Representative records, permissions and rollback are tested, and production cutover happens only after the clinic signs off.
Do I lose Healthlink or PCRS/GMS support if I leave HealthOne?
No launch approval is claimed for Healthlink/Healthmail sending, PCRS/GMS filing or insurer submission. Staff must use the clinic’s approved existing channels. Any future integration requires provider terms, production evidence and an updated signed order before use.
What does Brigid cost, and is there a contract lock-in?
Published early-access prices start at €129 per month. The signed order controls term, renewal, cancellation, migration scope and enabled services. Raw EU speech-to-text may be included only when its release evidence is approved; a Generative clinical scribe is disabled.
Is patient data safe with Brigid, and who controls what the AI writes?
Patient records are hosted in AWS Dublin (eu-west-1), while some disclosed provider paths may involve international transfers. Clinical and outreach generation are disabled; clinicians author records and staff author patient communications.
