- PRSI dental scheme support is in beta testing — treatment benefits pre-checked against eligibility at booking, claims formatted and submitted automatically. Today MedPro drafts the invoice and takes payment via Stripe; claims still go through the usual channel.
- How does insurance pre-auth work?
- Live insurer eligibility for VHI, Laya and Irish Life is in beta testing — pulling cover before the appointment so treatment plans show what the patient owes vs the insurer in real time. Today you record the split manually and invoice via Stripe.
- Can patients pay from their phone?
- Yes. Treatment-plan invoices arrive as a Stripe link by SMS + email. Apple Pay + Google Pay supported. Treatment-plan financing for larger work (orthodontics, implants).
- What about my dental imaging?
- We integrate with Carestream, DEXIS, and Sirona via DICOM. Images attach to the patient record automatically. Annotations stay with the image.
- Do hygienists get their own login?
- Yes. Role-based access for hygienists, associates, partners, and admin. Each role sees only what they need. Audit logs on everything.
